Twitter and Twitter Backgrounds

Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow open access. (Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twitter)

Each twitter user has a profile page which can be modified with personal information known as a bio, a avatar picture (73px X 73px) which is usually his / her picture and a background. There are various ways of producing a background most common are a tiled image or a complete background. When creating your background you have to be careful because the main twitter page will overlap your background. This can cause information or pictures to be obscured by the twitter page. You also need to be aware of the different screen sizes and browsers and how they render the page.

At ARD Drive we can produce twitter backgrounds for you with either pictures / text or a combination of both. We will carefully check browser compatibility and any overlap issues with the following browsers. IE / Firefox / Chrome. We can also check with other browsers on request.
